Volunteers are crucial to keeping Felines up and running. As a small non-profit we rely on our community of volunteers to help us keep the shelter clean and the cats well-loved. If you have an hour to spare we are committed to making sure it is well spent.

If you are interested in volunteering, we welcome you to come into the shelter any day between 12:30 and 5:00. If you prefer to call us first, feel free, we would love to hear from you.

Below is a list of some of the things we need volunteers to do. If you are interested in doing any of them or if you have another skill you would like to donate, please let us know.

Volunteer Opportunities

1. TLC/Socialization (on-going)
   The 120 cats at Felines Inc. are always in need of TLC. Whether it be brushing, petting or just playing, the cats will be so thankful. And so will you.
   
   
2. Special Projects (monthly or bi-monthly)
   Help with the upkeep of both the interior and exterior of Felines Inc. This includes painting, planting, raking, laundry, cleaning, and small repairs around the shelter.
   
   
3. Fundraising/Development (on-going)
   Felines Inc. is in need of an experienced grant writer/fundraiser. We also welcome your ideas and help planning and implementing fundraising events.
   
   
4. Info Tabling at Stores (monthly)
   Felines Inc. is looking for people who love people. Twice a month we host an information table at pet stores and grocery stores raising awareness about our wonderful shelter.
   
   
5. Special Events Assistance (monthly or bi-monthly)
   Felines Inc. is looking for organized individuals familiar with fundraising events. We need help with set up, clean up, registration, and other organizational functions.
