We received your beautiful newsletter and I realized how long it has been since we sent pictures and gave you an update on Max. I can't believe that it has only been a year in December since we adopted him! He has been such a fixture. His sickness really bonded us all very quickly and since about February of last year, he's been in great health. He is really active -- if he is not chasing our Mira, then he is chasing us, or his tail, or climbing the cat tree and playing with his toys, or climbing as high as he can and howling. He gets really feisty and doesn't realize the trouble he's getting into sometimes! He has come running too fast a few times and wound up with us in the shower instead of landing on the edge. And he has slipped off of book cases he was balancing on to land in bed with (or on) out of town guests -- usually in the middle of the night. He usually just continues to go to sleep wherever he lands! He is a big lover, too. He tries to clean Mira (which she hates) and he sleeps on my pillow at night, which is cute except that he snores. =)

Thank you for helping us find this guy & nurse him back to health. I can't imagine our house without him!
