Chicago Diner

Please join us every third Wednesday of the month at the Chicago Diner for dinner! They have generously offered to donate 10% of their dinner sales that evening to Felines Inc.

The Chicago Diner is one of the country's most well known vegetarian restaurants, having won numerous Best Of, Readers Choice & Audience Awards from AOL Cityguide, Citysearch.com & Vegnews Magazine. It is a cozy, unpretentious, friendly place offering a great haven for vegans & raw foodists, but also has amazing meat substitute dishes like Reubens, Fajitas & Lasagna that knock the socks of even the most skeptical carnivores.

TheChicago Diner is also famous for innovative vegan, trans-fat free desserts & 'milk'shakes, and is a favorite low profile destination for visiting hipsters, rock stars & celebrities. Carmen, a stunning 8 year old long haired Seal Point Siamese, was found as a stray. She was brought to Felines Inc. in the summer of 2005 in very poor condition. Most of her teeth are missing, she was malnourished and thin, and extremely afraid of people. At the shelter, Carmen was given plenty of time and space to settle in. She became comfortable and started putting on some much needed weight. She's still uncertain of people, but loves the other cats and chasing the laser light!



For some of the cats at the shelter, Felines Inc. has become their home, due to illness, old age or other complications.
