Abby Smith
Executive Director

Abby Smith joined Felines Inc. in December 2001. She previously spent 18 years in retail management, bringing a much needed customer service aspect to the cat shelter. She combines her love of cats and personal shopper experience in making forever unions between cats and their people.


Dr. Erika Lilja

A graduate of University of Pennsylvania, she has 4 cats and 1 dog.
Currently at Uptown Animal Hospital, she has always wanted to work in shelter medicine and brings a fresh outlook and vast experience to Felines Inc.

Michele Arnoto
Adoption & Volunteer Coordinator

Michele Arnoto joined Felines Inc. in March of 2007. She has a background including many years of non-profit management, but her greatest love is working in animal welfare. Michele is very excited to be working at Felines Inc. with all the wonderful cats we serve.


Edward Alderson
Veterinary Assistant

Edward Alderson joined Felines Inc. in March of 2004. He works as the veterinary assistant and has been in animal welfare for five years. He is currently seeking a degree in Heath Science.

Lenny is a goofy little guy. He was at a traditional shelter but is now enjoying the cageless house, his new buddies and so much wet food!



For some of the cats at the shelter, Felines Inc. has become their home, due to illness, old age or other complications.
