Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 11-12:30 p.m.

Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6-7:30

Please e-mail Kelly@FelinesCanines.org if you’d like to sign up to attend an orientation. At this time, we are only able to accept volunteers who are 18 years of age or older. Orientation starts on-time and late arrivals unfortunately cannot be accepted. We are located at 6379 N. Paulina Street at the corner of Paulina and Devon – (Entrance on Devon Ave.)

Volunteers are crucial to keeping Felines & Canines up and running.  As a small non-profit, we rely on our dedicated volunteers to help us stay connected in the community and to keep our animals well loved.  If you have an hour to spare we guarantee that it will be well spent and appreciated at Felines & Canines!

Below is a list of some of the things that we need volunteers to do.  If you are interested in doing any of them or if you have another skill that you think might benefit the shelter, please let us know.

TLC/Socialization/Dog Walking
The animals at Felines & Canines are always in need of TLC.  Whether it be brushing, petting or just playing, the animals will be so thankful. And so will you.

Morning/Evening Cleaning 
The morning and evening cleaning/caretaking shifts are physical and demanding, but by far and away the most crucial to keeping the shelter up and running. We pride ourselves on giving our animals the cleanest, healthiest environment possible, therefore we need some people who are willing to get dirty! If you are open to giving us a few hours of your time in the morning or evening, we’d be thrilled to have the assistance!

Special Events Assistance
Felines & Canines is looking for organized individuals familiar with fundraising events.  We need help with soliciting silent auction items and sponsorships, registration, set up/cleanup, and other organizational functions.
